Special issues follow the same editorial standards as regular articles while highlighting a focused theme.

Submit via portal
Upload the manuscript through ManuscriptZone or the submission form.
Monitor communications
Respond promptly to editorial and reviewer queries.
Track revisions
Use a clear response letter to address reviewer feedback.
Confirm data access
Provide repository links or controlled access instructions.
Declare conflicts
List funding and conflict of interest statements clearly.

Special issue manuscripts are handled by guest editors in partnership with JTRR editors to ensure consistent standards and unbiased decisions.

If the issue closes before acceptance, the article may be published in the next available issue with special issue labeling.

If additional experiments are not feasible, explain the limitations clearly and provide supporting analysis where possible.
