Biography
Fatih Deniz is affiliated with Harran University, Sanliurfa, Turkey, where his research focuses on Environmental Biotechnology. His work centers on the development and application of biosorbents derived from waste biomass, coastal seaweed communities, and forestry by-products for the removal of hazardous dyes, heavy metal ions, and other pollutants from aqueous environments. His investigations encompass biosorption mechanisms, phycoremediation system modeling, and the design of eco-friendly composite materials for water treatment. His most-cited publication, "Effective cleaning of a hazardous synthetic triarylmethane-type dye from aquatic environment with a multifunctional waste biomass–based biosorbent" (2022), exemplifies his contributions to sustainable bioremediation technologies for contaminated water systems.
