Biography
Dr. Cristiano Spadaccio is a Clinical Fellow and researcher specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery and the analysis of biomaterials and proteomics in cardiovascular disease. His primary research is focused on aortic valve replacement, advancing techniques such as sutureless devices and minimally invasive surgery. He is a recognized expert in tissue engineering, particularly for developing innovative, self-regenerating heart valves. His work spans clinical surgery, basic science on oxidative stress, and the molecular mechanisms underlying aneurysm pathology.
