Biography
Dr. Noor Apandi Osnin, PhD, MSc, is a Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Terengganu, where his research focuses on inland navigation, nautical science, maritime transport, seafarers, and aids to navigation. He received his education from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, the University of Wales, and the Maritime Academy Malaysia. His scholarly work includes over ten indexed publications, with his most influential contribution being "Profiling Malaysian ship registration and seafarers for streamlining future Malaysian shipping governance" (2021), which has been cited 39 times. Dr. Osnin has received multiple institutional recognitions, including the Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu in 2010, 2013, 2014, and 2016, as well as the national Anugerah Malim Ilmu from KPT in 2012.
