Overview

Differentiated Thyroid Cancer (DTC) is a type of cancer that originates from the thyroid gland, a small organ located in the front of the neck. DTC is the most common type of Thyroid Cancer, making up around 85% of all Thyroid Cancer cases. It is typically very treatable, as long as it is properly diagnosed and managed. Due to its high success rate of being cured, DTC plays a major role in the treatment of Thyroid Cancer. Treatment options may include surgery, radiation therapy, and medications.
