Cartilage Biomarkers

Cartilage biomarkers are proteins found in joint fluid and blood that indicate the health of the cartilage tissue. They are important for diagnosing joint diseases such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Cartilage biomarkers can help to monitor the progression of joint diseases and to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. By measuring the levels of these proteins, doctors can detect early signs of joint damage, allowing for timely and effective treatments. In addition, research has shown that cartilage biomarkers can predict the risk of developing joint diseases.
