Overview

Neuro treatment refers to the diagnosis and therapeutic management of disorders of the nervous system, encompassing the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. It addresses conditions such as stroke, traumatic injury, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement and neurodegenerative disorders, and inherited neurological diseases. Approaches range from medication and neuroprotective agents to rehabilitation, interventional procedures, and the use of imaging and protocols to guide timely care. Because nervous system damage can have lasting effects on movement, sensation, and cognition, accurate diagnosis and appropriately targeted treatment are central goals. Neurological Research and Therapy publishes peer-reviewed research on the mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological conditions. Reported work includes the use of Cerebrolysin in pediatric Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, the development of formulations of Neuro-EPO as a neuroprotective agent, and the evaluation of a stroke protocol using computed tomography angiography for assessing acute ischemic stroke patients. These studies illustrate how neuroprotective strategies, drug formulations, and diagnostic protocols are investigated to improve neurological care. This page gathers peer-reviewed, open-access research relevant to neuro treatment and the broader study of neurological disease and therapy.
