Overview

Cancer therapy comprises the modalities used to eradicate malignant cells, control tumor growth, and relieve disease burden, selected and sequenced according to tumor type, stage, molecular profile, and patient factors. The principal approaches are surgery, radiation therapy, cytotoxic chemotherapy, and an expanding set of biologically targeted and immunological treatments, often combined to exploit complementary mechanisms and counter therapeutic resistance. Contemporary oncology increasingly emphasizes molecularly directed strategies, nanoparticle-based and pH-sensitive drug delivery, oncolytic virotherapy, and immunotherapy that mobilizes host defenses against tumor antigens. Research collected here reflects this breadth: oncolytic viruses as potential antitumor agents, the cellular mechanics and therapeutic resistance underlying cancer relapse, pH-sensitive nanomedicine for gynecological cancers, immunomonitoring approaches using immunoassays and immunogenomics, suppression of metastasis through restoration of E-cadherin expression, and the cytotoxic and apoptotic activity of silver nanoparticles against carcinoma cell lines. Complementary and alternative treatments and the interface of epigenetics and nutrition are also examined, alongside clinical reports on managing multiple Neoplasms in elderly patients. Together these works span the molecular, cellular, and clinical dimensions of treating cancer, from drug-delivery engineering to resistance biology and outcome assessment. The journal publishes peer-reviewed research on therapeutic strategies, mechanisms of response and resistance, and treatment of neoplastic disease.
