Biography
Tommaso Piccoli is affiliated with the Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Policlinico "Paolo Giaccone" di Palermo, Palermo, Italy, where he conducts research spanning neurodegenerative disorders and related clinical phenomena. He completed his education at the University of Palermo. His work encompasses amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, parkinsonism-dementia complexes, ataxias, and sleep disorders in neurodegenerative conditions, with investigations into genetic mutations, cortical excitability, neuroimaging, and molecular mechanisms involving neurosteroids and protein interactions.
