Medical and psychological trauma is an extremely complex field, encompassing both physical and mental injuries. It includes traumatic events that have the potential to cause physical, psychological, and emotional harm, such as those caused by serious accidents, natural disasters, violence and abuse, terrorism, and military combat. Journal accepts articles in the areas of long-term physical and emotional effects, including chronic pain, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and physical conditions such as head trauma or difficulty walking. Psychological trauma is the result of intense but non-physical experiences, such as a traumatic relationship, the death of a loved one, or witnessing a traumatic event. These events can lead to feelings of guilt, depression, and anxiety, as well as the low sense of self-worth and difficulty forming trusting relationships

The journal encompasses all aspects of trauma including physical injury, physical illness, psychological trauma, and its treatments, with a special focus on issues related to war trauma, medical accidents, and disasters, the impact of trauma on physical and mental health, the use of virtual reality to treat trauma. JMPT's aim is to provide a comprehensive platform for scientists and academicians all over the world in order to promote and share their findings in the areas of trauma care, diagnostics, and treatment of traumatized patients, trauma, including the emergence of mental health issues after trauma, treatment outcomes, and best practices. Articles related to trauma in vulnerable populations, such as military veterans, the elderly, and the disabled, are also welcomed. This journal is devoted to furthering the understanding of medical and psychological trauma and its impact on individuals and society.
