About Cancer Genetics:
Cancer genetics helps in identifying the genetic alterations that occur in the body in different stages of cancer. It studies how the mutations and changes are taking place in DNA cells, by focusing on oncogenes promoting cell growth and tumor suppressor genes. Understanding these genetic factors helps in identifying the risk factors, susceptibility to cancer, and respective targetted therapies.
Publishing of research pertaining to advances in cancer genetics will help in the development of personalized medicine, tailoring treatments depending on the individual’s genetic profile for effective and precise interventions in identifying, diagnosis, and in management of cancer.
