Biography
Timo Arula is affiliated with the University of Tartu, Estonia, where his research focuses on fish reproductive biology and early life history. His most-cited publication, "Individual fecundity of the autumn spawning Baltic herring Clupea harengus membras L.; pp. 119โ134" (2012), reflects his expertise in Baltic Sea fisheries ecology. Throughout his career, he has received numerous competitive grants and awards supporting doctoral research and international scientific exchange, including the AFS Early Life History Section J.H.S. Blaxter best student poster award in 2011, travel grants from SA ARCHIMEDES and the Kristjan Jaak programme, and funding from the Estonian Students Fund and Estonian World Council for PhD studies.
