Overview

Safety and ergonomic hazards are a set of factors that can cause physical harm to individuals who work in certain environments and can impact their ability to perform their job effectively. Workers may encounter safety hazards such as electrical shock, hazardous chemicals and improper use of tools, while ergonomic hazards are related to the design of the workspace and can include improper lifting technique, repetitive motion and insufficient lighting. It is essential for employers to take proactive steps to address both safety and ergonomic hazards in order to protect the health and wellbeing of their employees and promote overall productivity. By implementing an effective safety and ergonomics program, employers can reduce the risk of injury, minimize downtime and promote workplace morale.
