Biography
Dr. Vasundhara Kain is Lab Faculty at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, United States, having completed her PhD at the National Centre for Cell Science. Her research focuses on cardiovascular inflammation and resolution pathways, with her most-cited work examining the role of resolution sensors in age-related cardiometabolic and cardiorenal defects and inflammation-resolution in heart failure, published in 2020 and cited 66 times. Dr. Kain maintains professional memberships in several prestigious scientific organizations, including the Society of Experimental Biology and Medicine, the American Heart Association, the American Physiological Society, and the American Society for Investigative Pathology, as well as The Cytometric Society-India Chapter, the Society for Free Radical Research India Chapter, and the Indian Society of Cell Biology.
