Coronaviruses are a group of RNA viruses that cause respiratory illness and infections in humans and animals. The current outbreak of Covid-19 was first reported in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The virus has since spread to all corners of the globe, affecting every continent and causing widespread panic and concerns about global health and economy. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared it a pandemic, and governments across the world are implementing measures to control the spread of this virus. The symptoms of Covid-19 include fever, cough, and difficulty in breathing. The virus spreads primarily through respiratory droplets that are expelled when an infected person talks, coughs or sneezes. It is highly infectious and can spread rapidly from person to person, even in asymptomatic carriers.
