Biography
Dr. Angela Pia Cazzolla holds a PhD and currently serves as RTT at LUM Jean Monnet University in Casamassima, Apulia, Italy, having completed her doctoral education at the University of Bari Aldo Moro. Her research encompasses oral pathology, genetic syndromes affecting craniofacial development, and diagnostic biomarkers in oral cancer, with particular contributions to the study of hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, cleidocranial dysplasia, osteogenesis imperfecta, and sleep-disordered breathing in pediatric populations. Dr. Cazzolla has authored over 36 indexed publications, including her most-cited work, "MicroRNA-21 Expression as a Prognostic Biomarker in Oral Cancer: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis" (2022), which has received 50 citations. Her clinical and ultrastructural investigations have advanced understanding of dentinogenesis imperfecta, Turner syndrome dental abnormalities, and temporomandibular intracapsular disease evaluation.
