Biography
Dr. Riccardo Di Gianfilippo is affiliated with the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation (FOR) in Switzerland, where he contributes to research in periodontal and implant dentistry. His work focuses on soft tissue management and alveolar ridge preservation, with particular emphasis on long-term clinical outcomes in regenerative procedures. His most-cited publication, "Acellular dermal matrix and coronally advanced flap or tunnel technique in the treatment of multiple adjacent gingival recessions. A 12‐year follow‐up from a randomized clinical trial" (2019), has received 93 citations and demonstrates his commitment to evidence-based periodontal therapy. Dr. Di Gianfilippo has authored 14 indexed publications and has received multiple academic distinctions, including the Martignoni Prize for highest academic marks at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and first prize in the student scientific poster competition at the VII National Congress SITD in Cagliari, Italy.
