Overview

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an aggressive cancer of the lymphatic system arising from mature B lymphocytes, and it is the most common type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It typically presents as rapidly enlarging lymph nodes or masses and can involve extranodal sites, including the central nervous system. Standard first-line treatment is combination immunochemotherapy, most commonly the R-CHOP regimen, which pairs the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody rituximab with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone.
