Overview

Clinical laboratories are facilities where various medical tests and procedures are conducted to diagnose or monitor medical conditions. These laboratories use various techniques to analyze and interpret body fluids, tissues, and other samples to provide accurate and reliable results for clinical diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases. Clinical Case Reports and Images are crucial tools used in clinical laboratories to document and communicate various medical conditions, procedures, and outcomes. These reports and images are used by healthcare professionals to share their experiences, knowledge and insights with other healthcare workers, researchers, and students, among others. Clinical case reports typically involve a detailed description of a particular patient’s medical history, symptoms, examination findings, diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. On the other hand, clinical images (e.g. X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, etc.) provide visual evidence of various medical conditions and help healthcare professionals diagnose and treat patients.
