Overview
Diabetes Education is an important health management strategy for people with diabetes. It helps them to understand the illness, learn how to manage it effectively, and reduce their risk of complications. Diabetes Education includes teaching about diet, exercise, blood glucose monitoring, medication management, stress management, and other lifestyle modifications. It can improve blood glucose levels, reduce consequences of diabetes, and improve quality of life. Diabetes Education is beneficial for both healthcare providers and people with diabetes, as it can help facilitate better communication, reduce hospitalizations, and improve health outcomes.
