Overview
Behavior Genetics is a scientific field that studies genetics to explain individual differences in behavior. It examines the relationship between genetic factors and behavior, as well as environmental influences, in order to understand how and why people are different. This research is important for understanding the causes of certain diseases, as well as for predicting who might be susceptible to them. In addition, Behavior Genetics can help with improving educational and mental health outcomes by providing insight into the factors that contribute to them. Finally, it can be used to help guide public policy decisions to benefit society at large.
